Why Did God Create Mankind?

Jesus just told us that the majority of people are going to hell. God knew that many will end up in hell and yet He created mankind anyway. We sometimes forget that God made every person in His own image and with that, gave each of them a free will to choose. Our decisions have consequences, including where we choose to spend eternity.

But what about all the hundreds of millions of people who choose to believe in Jesus Christ and go to heaven? Should they be denied the most amazing gift of eternal life in heaven because of those who are foolish enough to reject Christ?
