Christians And Politics

In spite of the decline of moral values in our country, many people believe that Christians should stay out of politics and government affairs. They think we ought to busy ourselves with sharing the Gospel and leave the politics to someone else. While it’s true we want to be kingdom focused and share the Good News with the world… this doesn’t mean believers should remove themselves from decisions that affect the cities and states they reside in.

If Christians keep out of politics, who will oppose decisions that harm humanity as a whole? What about things that harm children? And things that threaten religious freedom? Who else will defend these moral causes?
