Will I Go To Hell?
Will I Go To Hell?
We’re all faced with choices every day, but many of us don’t realize that we are also faced with a choice about the afterlife, and where we will spend eternity. Hell is a real place and many people are going there, and they don’t even realize it.
I spent 23 minutes in hell. There are those who think that hell doesn’t exist, or that it’s not a literal place of pain and suffering. But if you could see hell for just five seconds, you would think differently. Hell is so severe, so horrifying, and so utterly detestable that you would do anything to escape it for even those five seconds, much less for an eternity.
Heaven Is Not Our Default Destination
Jesus said in Matthew 25:46, “These will go into everlasting life, and these will go into everlasting punishment.” There are only two groups and two places. We all think death won’t happen to us, but one day we will all be in the graveyard, and heaven is not our default destination. There needs to be a purposeful act on our part. We all need forgiveness for our sins. We can never be good enough before a Holy God. It took Jesus dying in our place, and shedding his blood on the cross for our sins.
Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Jesus Is The Only Way To Heaven
Jesus said He was the only way to heaven. You can choose to believe Him or reject Him. It is your choice. But because this decision has eternal consequences, it is the most important decision you will ever make.
