Is Jesus God?

Some people say that Jesus never said He was the Son of God. Jesus himself said He was the Son of God in at least 24 verses. Here are just four, one from each Gospel:

Matthew 26:63-64, the high priest asked Jesus, “tell us whether you are the Messiah, the Son of God.” Jesus replied, “yes, it is as you say.” (NLT)
Mark 14:61-62, “Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?” Jesus said, “I Am.”
Luke 22:70, The high council said to Jesus, “You claim you are the Son of God” And He replied, “you are right in saying I Am.”
John 10:36, Jesus said, “I Am the Son of God”.

In addition to Jesus saying He was the Son of God, others throughout the New Testament also said Jesus was the Son of God: All the apostles, a devil, Satan himself, the angel Gabriel, The Holy Ghost, God the Father, John the Baptist, Mary, the mother of Jesus, Phillip, Nathanael, the Samaritans, Martha, religious leaders, the thief on the cross, and the centurion who executed Jesus said, “truly, this was the Son of God” in Matthew 27:54.

It is interesting that the Pharisees could not find even two witnesses against the Lord. Judas even said He was innocent, Pilate’s wife said He was a just man, Pilate himself said He was a just man, and the centurion who crucified Him said He was the Son of God (Matthew 26:59-60; Matthew 27: 4,19, 24, 54).

Every unbeliever will stand before Him one day at the Great White Throne Judgment and answer for their rejection of the provision for their sins, which is Jesus Christ, and for their refusal to repent. Therefore they will have to pay for their sins in an eternal hell. Whether you believe it or not, your knee will bow and confess that He is Lord, as He said you will do in Isaiah 45:23, Romans 14:11 and Philippians 2:10.

Believers Bible Commentary page 1967 says,

Those who do not willingly bow the knee to him now, will one day be compelled to do so.

You must choose whether you believe He was a lunatic or a liar to think He was God, or that He was the Son of God as He said. If you say He was only a good teacher, then you are calling Him a liar. Your eternal destiny rests on your decision.
