Does God Predestine People To Hell?

There are quite a few people who believe in something called predestination. This teaching states that Jesus died for only some people, but not for the whole world. It also states that only those who are predestined can come to know him. They believe the rest of mankind is doomed.

This teaching is simply not true. It is what’s called a false teaching and it is actually quite easy to disprove by just looking at what scripture says.

What Does The Bible Say About Predestination?

John 1:29, “Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sins of the world.”
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever should believe in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Jesus loves the whole world.
In John 6:51, Jesus said, “The bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”
2 Corinthians 5:19, “Christ reconciling the world unto himself.”
1 John 2:2, “But he died for the sins of the whole world.”
1 Timothy 2:6, “Who gave himself a ransom for all.” It clearly says all
Hebrews 2:9, “He by the grace of God should taste death for every man.” Notice it says every Not just some.
Romans 14:15, “Destroy not him with thy meat for whom Christ died for them.”
1 Timothy 2:4, “Who will have all men to be saved.” Again, see the word all.
2 Peter 3:9, “He’s not willing that any should perish.”
Acts 2:21, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
In John 6:40, Jesus said, “This is the will of Him that sent me. That everyone who sees the Son and believes on Him may have everlasting life. And I will raise Him up the last day.”

These scripture all share, everyone, all, and the whole world. It is so clear.

Jesus Died For All

God is inclusive. You can get to know Him right now. You can receive Him as your Lord and Savior. You are not excluded. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. He died for all men. He invites you to come to know Him no matter who you are, no matter where you are. Always search God’s Word for truth and understanding.
