Desolation In Hell
Desolation In Hell
I wrote the book called 23 Minutes in Hell, where I share the vision God gave me of this horrid place. One of the things I experienced in my vision was the extreme desolation. The only visible area I could see was whatever the flames slightly illuminated.
THERE IS NOT ONE LIVING THING IN HELL. The ground was all rock, barren and desolate. There was not one green thing, not one living thing, not one blade of grass, not one leaf on the ground. It was just a complete wasteland, and it was burning hot as a blast furnace. Isaiah 59:10 says, We are in desolate places as dead men.
In Ezekiel 26:20 we read, When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the Pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the lower parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the Pit.”
On Earth, even the desert contains life that has adapted to its harsh environment, and produces a natural beauty. The place I witnessed was entirely void of life—nothing like the desert.
God declares to wicked men in Isaiah 13:9, that He will make their land desolate. That refers to right here on the earth…and hell will be far worse.
EVERYTHING GOOD IS FROM GOD. We are surrounded with beauty in this life; trees, lush landscapes across the valleys, mountain ranges, flowers, grass, and simply life — itself. Hell is a place absent from all these things we take for granted. In addition, it is a permanent place of no escape, and never-ending terror. There is not one moment of rest, not one pleasant thing to observe, not one person to talk to, and not one moment without pain. There is everlasting fire, everlasting damnation, and everlasting punishment.
Isaiah 33:12-14 says, Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire; who among us will dwell with everlasting burnings.
The question is, will it be you?
