Deceived By Demons
So many people believe that Hell, Satan and demons are just a joke or fantasy. They base their belief on the lies they have heard taught by other deceived people, or on their feelings. The Bible tells us that Satan deceives unbelievers. Are you one of the deceived?
2 Corinthians 4:4, “Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe.”
1 John 5:19, “the whole world lies under the sway (or power) of the wicked one.”
Revelation12:9, “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
If you continue to believe hell and demons are fake then you are saying Jesus Christ is a liar.
Jesus said the devil is real in Matthew 12:26, “If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?”
Jesus said those who reject Him belong to the devil. In John 8:44 and 1 John 3:8, it states that he who sins is of the devil and that this person’s father is the devil.
Ephesians 5:6 says, “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.”
The person who rejects God’s forgiveness and practices a lifestyle of sin belongs to the devil. That person is under God’s wrath and on the road to hell.
Jesus said hell is real and people will go there in Matthew 25:46, “And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
In Matthew 25:41 Jesus is speaking of people going to the same place as the devil when He said, “Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.”
While on the earth, Jesus demonstrated demons were real when He cast them out of the many people who came to Him.
Mark 16:9 records this after Jesus rose from the dead. It states, “Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.”
In Matthew 12:28 Jesus said, “But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.”
Jesus warned of deception in the last days:
Matthew 24:3-4 records His disciples asking Him this question, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.”
The Bible continues to warn us against deception in the last days in 2 Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.”
2 Thessalonians 2:3, “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition (or the Antichrist) This says that Jesus Christ will not return until the world at large turns away from God and the final Antichrist or world leader is revealed.”
At the end of the 7-year tribulation period, Revelation 19:20 takes place. Then the beast is captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Revelation 20:10, “The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”
The end of the age is fast approaching. Never in human history have end-time events converged at this speed. Deep down inside, you know there is a God that you will have to answer to one day. Please don’t harden your heart and continue to ignore the Lord Jesus Christ and His warnings about hell, the devil and deception.
