The Goodness and Severity of God

The purpose of this podcast is to help us understand why Christians must walk more in the fear of the Lord and obey God’s commands. Many people say they love God, but they don’t fear Him. To fear Him means you respect God enough to obey whatever He says in His word.

The Bible gives us many example of God’s great love for us and how truly good and forgiving He is. We also read true stories of His severity for those who reject His ways. These true biblical accounts should help us see why we must repent and avoid a sinful lifestyle. You might think that some of these occurrences were too harsh or strict, but God says otherwise. This is the side of God we also need to know. Some of these people were unbelievers and others were God’s people
