Preparing For Ministry

Many Christians want to launch out into ministry before they’ve been prepared. That’s not always a wise thing to do. There must be a strong, spiritual foundation before God will trust and bless someone with a ministry.

Any type of pastoral, traveling or teaching ministry must be initiated by God and should be confirmed by other Christian leaders who influence your life. This preparation would include, but is not limited to extensive knowledge of the Bible, a compassionate and humble heart, a lifestyle pleasing to God, and proven years of being a faithful servant within a Church.
