How Can A Body Not Burn Up In Hell?

The Bible teaches that there is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body (1 Corinthians 15:44). The spirit body a person is given in hell has different limitations and endurance than the natural body. Similar to the burning bush in the book of Exodus, these bodies will withstand destruction by fire. Just as the bush was not burned up, neither will we be.

When we consider the glorious heavenly body God is preparing for us in heaven, it’s not difficult to imagine He would have no problem preparing a body that will not be consumed by the fires of hell.
