Hope For Confusion
In today’s world I could tell someone that I am a blue monkey, and they’d agree with me with responding with something like, “Well, whatever your truth is, that’s what you are.”
This is absolute nonsense!
Most people are simply agreeing with this type of absurdity because they don’t want to appear judgmental, or they believe they are being accepting and compassionate. ALL people know that you can’t just assume an identity…animal or otherwise…and it becomes reality YET we’re seeing this behavior supported and encouraged every day.
Affirming someone who is confused or deceived is not compassionate. It’s cowardly and selfish. Truth is not subjective. Truth is not an opinion, and truth is not a feeling. In John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by Me.” Jesus just said He is THE TRUTH. The definition of truth means “that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality” or it means “the quality or state of being true.” When someone affirms another person’s confusion, they give validity to a feeling or opinion that is actually keeping that person in darkness and confusion.
God is not the author of confusion. Confusion comes from watching and listening to lies. In addition, confusion contributes to feelings of anger and frustration. There is only one way out of confusion and that is by hearing and receiving truth.
If you are struggling with this kind of emotional confusion, you must reject the deceptive voices that claim to agree with you, and offer you emotional support.
You must turn your whole heart to the Lord Jesus Christ. Sincerely come to Him and ask for His help. God will guide you into what is good and right for you IF you’re willing to turn from your own way, turn from sin, and surrender your life to Him. This only happens when we place our faith in Jesus Christ alone to save us. His sinless blood was shed to wash us clean from every sin, every mistake and every failure.
In John 8:31-32, Jesus said, “If you abide, follow, and obey My word, you are My disciples indeed. AND you shall KNOW the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
It’s knowing the TRUTH that brings you freedom.
You’ll never experience real peace and freedom by pushing the truth away. You’ll remain confused and lost, and you’ll eventually become hopeless. You may experience fleeting periods of so-called “happiness” but that feeling will be short-lived. You may even put on the façade of a carefree life filled with happiness but inside you are empty, hurting, and full of despair.
Only Jesus Christ loved you enough to suffer a horrible death on the Cross to pay for all your sin. Every single person is born in sin, and continues to sin throughout his or her life. Sin separates us from God. Jesus died, was buried and rose from the dead conquering death, hell, and the grave. He came to save that which was lost. He came to save your life, not destroy your life. Satan comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus came to give you life more abundantly. Only the Lord Jesus Christ can give you real peace, comfort, help, freedom, and hope.
Have you been confused by Satan’s lies? Jesus warned us in John, chapter eight saying, “Most assuredly I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.” The world says you are free when you do whatever feels good, but the reality is, you are a slave to your sin and you are living in darkness. Jesus said of Himself, “If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
