About Bill & Annette Wiese

In 1970 I received Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. At this time, I also began my career in real estate. God taught me priceless lessons from His Word during my career, which developed my character and brought me much success for over 35 years.

On November 23, 1998 I had an out-of-body experience which falls under the classification of a ‘vision’ as described in 2 Corinthians 12:1-2. It was not a dream or a near death experience. The Lord chose to take me to hell in my spirit body. I had been a Christian for 28 years with a love for God’s Word but I had never studied the topic of hell. 

In 2005 I was approached by Charisma House to write a book about my experience. To date, the book has been published in 15 languages including English, Afrikaans, Croatian, Finnish, French, Hungarian, Indonesian, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish and Swedish languages. 

My wife Annette and I founded Soul Choice Ministries in 2000 for the purpose of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. With hundreds of requests to share “23 Minutes in Hell,” we left our careers in 2007 to enter full-time ministry. Since that time, we have witnessed this God-entrusted message transform thousands of lives worldwide. To God be all the glory.
