I spent 23 minutes in hell, in the vision God gave me.

Hell is a place of overwhelming terror, torment, darkness, fear, misery, thirst, isolation, confusion, full of demons who will torment you and have no mercy, prison cells, enormous pits raging with fire and its forever and ever. Jesus describes hell in 46 verses in the Bible. You’d have to call Him a liar if you deny it.

Hell is so horrible because God’s goodness is absent from this place. No love, no light, no water, no life, no peace and no hope. When you remove God from the situation, all the good goes with Him. You cannot have the good without God.

Do you know where you will go when you die? Will you go to heaven or hell? Why should God allow you into a perfect place called heaven? Our goodness isn’t good enough. Our sin, shortcomings, mistakes and our fallen nature separates us from God.

That’s why Jesus came. He died on the cross to take the penalty for our sin and restore our relationship to God – if we believe. It takes a purposeful act on our part. It takes humility and sincerity on your part. It is a decision to choose to believe and ask God to forgive you. One day you will die. The question is where will you go?
